About Examination Cell
KRK Government Degree College follows a transparent and active evaluation process for students, which consists of Continuous Internal Assessment (CIA) and External Assessment (EA) under the CBCS framework. The weightage for CIA is 25% and EA carries 75% weightage, except for practical papers. The college has an Institutional Internal Examination Committee (IIEC) responsible for the internal assessment process, including preparing the examination calendar, conducting mid-semester examinations, and ensuring question paper setting is in accordance with the CIA pattern. The college also has a three-tier grievance redressal mechanism for examination-related grievances, which is resolved within seven days. External examination grievances are sent to the controller of examinations of the affiliating university, and the chief superintendent of the examination coordinates in case of any discrepancies in hall tickets. The college also guides students on applying for re-evaluation and recounting after the results are declared.
