In the academic year 1984–1985 the departments of political science and public administration were allied with the department of Economics . English is used as the language of instruction for the mixture of public admisnistration , economics, and political science. The political science department has a 60-student intake capacity. To evaluate the students' progress, the department holds seminars, assigns homework, and administers internal assessments. For the average learners, the department also offers coaching for remediation. Additional reading is provided for a deeper knowledge of the subject via the departmental lecture.
The department supports and mentors the students as they advance in their careers. The pupils preparing for competitive exams are given additional reading material and instructions on how to seek higher education. We urge the students to visit the library, read journal articles, and gather resources for the competitive exams. Journals and magazines including "Kurukshetra," "yojana," and "prthiyogithadarpans" are available in the library.
