The Consumer Club in our UG college is a student-led initiative established to address and promote consumer awareness and rights among the student body.
Objectives: Its primary objective is to educate and empower students regarding their consumer rights, responsibilities, and the importance of making informed purchasing decisions.
Awareness Campaigns: The club plan to organize the regular awareness campaigns about such as product quality, pricing transparency, and legal aspects of consumer protection.
It will extends its activities beyond the campus by organizing community outreach programs to raise awareness about consumer issues among the local population.
The club will assists students in understanding the process of lodging consumer complaints and helps them navigate through grievances related to products or services.
It will promotes ethical consumption practices, encouraging students to support businesses that uphold ethical and sustainable standards.
