INTRDUCTION:
K.R.K. GOVT .DEGREE & PG COLLEGE was established at Addanki. In 1984 and the Departement of Telugu also began simultaneously. K.R.K. Govt.Degree &PG college, addanki is one of the oldest and reputed institution in Prakasam Dt Andhra Pradesh.It is situated on the hillocks of singarakonda in the outskirts of addanki with beautiful landscape and worth seeing places. This college is the brian child of shri. Katta Ramakoteswar Rao who came forward to support the establishment of this institution.

This college despite all the constraints has been successfully imparting education to the poor and backward sections of the society of this region for the last 38 years.

Action plan for the Academic year 2021-2022 for Department of Telugu, KRK Govt Degree College,Addanki.
The Department of Telugu consists one regular teaching faculty Dr.Ch.Anitha teaching for UG cours During the Current academic year 2021 the following programmer are planned to be conducted with the support of students & co-staff.
1. Preparing result analysis based on final (University) exam marks and identifying underperforming students.
2. Making arrangement for remedial coaching to the identified underperforming students.
3. Special programmer like seminars, participation in local literary events and preparation for paper presentation areplanned for the students having academic excellence.
4. Arrangement of Ashtavadhanam prakriya by local laureate, which is exclusive sahitee prakriya for telugu
5. Plan to encourage students who are interested in kavita rachana under the guidance by local telugu poets
6. Oraganising quiz programs in modern telugu literature as will as in pracheena kavitvam for the students to succeed in competitive exams
7. Conducting assignments unit tests and evaluating their performance and suggesting steps for improving the performance

i.ADDANKI PANDARANGANI PADYA SHASANAM - The first poetic inscription in telugu which is in prosody "TARUVOJA"
ii. ERRAPRAGADA KAVITHA,JEEVITHA VISESHALU and HISTOROCAL PROMINENCE OF ADDANKI
9. Plan to organize fieldtrip to "kamatheswaram swamy temple and veyi sthambhala gudi (sivalayam) " which was built by kodaveeti reddy kingdoms
10. Celebration of important language festival by conducting Vyasarachana,vaktrutvam,quiz programs,singing and dancing events and distribution of prize for the winners in the events.some of the important days are given below.
